Restaurant
In May of 1988 a traditional farmhouse opened its doors as a restaurant, “Restaurante Aspaldiko”, to enlighten the Basque gastronomic scene. After four centuries of hard work as a farm, it was renovated and saved from ruins to become what it is today.
The outside
Listed by the Basque government as “cultural property classified as a monument category” it is currently one of the last living and representative specimens of traditional Basque architecture, highlighting the furniture of the time and its structure built entirely based on closed wooden framework with table Very tongue and groove and embedded in rails that can be seen both in its main facade and inside.
